the handles modelled as a colourful parrot perched on a leafy branch, the neck, body and foot each moulded with two gilt-scroll cartouches enclosing Wattesque Commedia dell'Arte-inspired scenes of lovers in landscape on the front, and flowers on the reverse, the reserve and interior with scattered sprigs, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, incised 2761, various impressed numerals
