Description

the frames moulded with four scroll-edged rocaille cartouches painted with garden birds perched on branches, encrusted with flowers and foliage with a bird perched on a branch to each side and surmounted by a pair of putti holding a flower garland between them, with twin scrolling flower-encrusted branches, each with a single candle sconce, fitted with a wooden back, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to rear of both, one incised 189
