Founded in 1933 by Leon Dalva, Sr. and his two brothers, Raphael and Maurice, Dalva Brothers has been a fixture in New York for almost ninety years, renowned for offering the best-in-class 18th century French furniture and decorative arts. Across three generations, the family firm regularly sold to many of the world's top museums including the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Versailles and the Louvre while private collectors, most notably, Greta Garbo, Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis and John Lennon, frequented the gallery.
