Arabic manuscript on paper, 62 leaves, plus 2 fly-leaves, 31 lines to the page written in small, neat naskh in black ink, diacritics in red, ruled in gold, red and black, verses separated by gold roundels with red and blue dots, 'ashr and hizb marked by marginal inscriptions in gold thuluth, juz' and sajda marked by illuminated marginal medallions, surah headings in gold, the opening bifolium fully illminated in gold and polychrome framing text, in gilt-stamped green leather binding with flap, decorated with cintamani motifs in a lattice
