Appearing in the guise of an Indian mahasiddha, wearing bone jewellery and a copper-inlaid meditation strap (Tib. gom tag) across his chest, his face with moustache and goatee, wide eyes inlaid with silver, and lips with copper, long hair plaited in a high chignon and tied with bone ornaments, holding his customary ritual implements of vajra and kapala, and seated on a lotus pedestal covered with a flayed tiger-skin.

The Tibetan yogi Tsang Nyon Heruka (1452-1507) is renowned for his eccentric appearance, and for his compilation of Milarepa’s One Hundred Thousand Songs. 此像呈現印度大成就者之風貌，身佩骨飾，胸前橫掛嵌銅之修持帶（藏語：gom tag），面具鬍鬚，雙目嵌銀，唇嵌銅，長髮梳成高髻，飾以骨飾，手持金剛杵與嘎巴拉之法器，端坐於覆以剝皮虎皮之蓮台上。
