The arms on one side of the foot are those of King George II and on the other those of George Greville, Baron Brooke of Beauchamps Court (1746-1816) who succeeded his father as 2nd Earl of Warwick in 1773 and married Georgiana, only daughter of Sir James Peachey Bt, 1st Lord Selsey, in 1771. This cup probably was a christening gift to George, Baron Brooke from George II.
