Pearl and gold bangle, circa 1844 and later and a lapis lazuli, seed pearl and diamond brooch, mid-19th century


Comprising: a hinged bangle set with a button-shaped pearl, engraved with rococo-style scrolls, inner circumference approximately 160mm, inscribed 'Max. zum Andenken an Deinen Namenstag den 26. April 1844 Marie'; and a brooch designed as a series of gold bars decorated with a clover leaf composed of lapis lazuli beads and rose diamonds, the terminals enhanced with seed pearls, partial maker's mark.
