款識：
戊戌七月，蜀人張大千爰。
廢圃寬閒五百弓，竭來聊復此從容。疏泉種石通松塢，築室開軒面竹叢。飽食自安薇蕨富，粗衣遍植苧棉豐。雛孫解看西崦好，扶我朝昏一柱筇。摩詰山園有作，戊戌七月廿有四日，大千居士再書。
鈐印：「張爰」、「大千鈢」、「稅牛厂」。
藏印：「嶺梅珍藏」。

Inscription:
Seventh lunar month of the wuxu year, Chang Dai-chien Yuan from Shu.
The disused garden is as wide as the range of five hundred shots of arrows. I went there trying to relax when overcome with weariness. Dredging a stream and paving stone all the way to the pine ravine, chambers and verandas are built facing the bamboo groves. Well-fed, I am content for my wealth in herbs and ferns; modestly clad, I am affluent in flex planted all over the place. My little grandchild knows well enough the beauty of the western mountain; a staff is what supports me both day and night. Done at the Mogi Garden on the twenty-fourth day of the wuxu year, written again by Dai-chien Jushi.

註：五十年代初，張大千投荒南美，輾轉定居巴西聖保羅東南的Mogi市，並將其音譯為「摩詰」，亦合於「詩佛」王維之號。他於此處闢地百畝，修築園林，遂名之「摩詰山園」。大千親力監造，開湖叠石，率子侄蒔花種竹。此間作品，每以山園景色入畫，寫其田園生活。本幅所見，大千偕孫憩息園中，同賞湖光山色，從題詩，亦可見異國生活日漸調適，下筆時心境輕鬆順暢。
本幅原寫於日本金紙卡，高嶺梅因收藏習慣，重新托裱為鏡片。
