Description

Château Mouton Rothschild 2000 (1 Jeroboam, 1 Experience)

Pauillac, 1er Cru Classé

Baron Philippe de Rothschild offers you a 5-litre Jeroboam of Château Mouton Rothschild from the 2000 vintage, a legendary wine straight from the estate's cellars.

In addition to this exceptional bottle, you will be invited to spend a day in Pauillac and Bordeaux, discovering Château Mouton Rothschild and the Bordeaux Opera. This experience, for 4 people, consists of a private visit to the "Paintings for the Labels" exhibition, bringing together all the original works of Mouton labels since 1945, followed by a visit to the Mouton cellar and vat room, a tasting of 3 vintages of Mouton and a lunch at Château Mouton Rothschild in the presence of Mr Philippe Sereys de Rothschild, co-owner of Château Mouton Rothschild and CEO of Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA.

A private tour of the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux will also be organised.

Date to be agreed from September 2023.

Tasting note:

In 2014, a wonderful, fresh, brambly nose, with huge, vivacious projection. Tremendous youthful fruit on the palate, all blackberries and cedarwood. Archetypal First Growth Pauillac, with a cassis signature on the finish. Pair it with the 2001, a revelation in vintage contrast. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
