Der Künstler Philipp Stöckl über das vorliegende Werk:

„So wie in etwa ein Programmierer ein neues Programm erschafft, konstruiert der Newcomer "Substanz" ein Gleichgewicht in geraden Bahnen, welches wie in einem Computer oder digitalen Netzwerk von Energie durchströmt wird.

Jeder Pinselstrich auf dem Gemälde ist mit den entferntesten Strichen auf der Leinwand verbunden. Und doch bilden alle ein Großes und Ganzes.

Weg von den Flächen, hin zu einer formlosen Kunst, wirkt das Gemälde auf den Betrachter fast wie ein Gehirn in dem elektronische Impulse ihre Bahnen nehmen.

Bloß mit dem Unterschied, dass alles zeitgleich zu passieren scheint.

Im Grunde genommen beschreibt dieses Werk einen neuen Zeitgeist mit dem die Menschheit aktuell konfrontiert ist.

Wo früher im Abstrakten Expressionismus Großtädte und Emotionen subjektiv spontan ausgedrückt wurden, ist es nun eher zu einem Programm geworden, welches viele Punkte harmonisch miteinander verbindet und interagieren lässt.

So wie z.B Google, Facebook und WhatsApp das eben in unserer heutigen und technologischen Welt auch ermöglichen.

Dies ist das Metaverse. Die Energie fließt. Eine neue Welt entsteht, hier und jetzt, in neuen Bahnen, einer neuen Kunst und Abstraktion des 21ten Jahrhunderts. Willkommen im Metaversum”

“Just as a programmer creates a new program, the newcomer 'Substance' constructs an equilibrium of straight lines through which energy flows, like in a computer or digital network.

Every brushstroke on the painting is connected to the most distant lines on the canvas. And yet they all form a great whole.

Away from the surfaces, towards a formless art, the painting appears to the viewer almost like a brain in which electronic impulses run their course.

The only difference is that everything seems to happen at the same time.

 In fact, this work describes a new zeitgeist that humanity is currently facing.

Whereas Abstract Expressionism used to express big cities and emotions in a subjective and spontaneous way, it has now become more of a programme that harmoniously connects and interacts with many points.

Just as Google, Facebook and WhatsApp make it possible in today's technological world.

 This is the metaverse. The energy is flowing. A new world is emerging, here and now, in new directions, a new art and abstraction of the 21st century. Welcome to the Metaverse“
