The strip cartoon of You Only Live Twice appeared in the Daily Express from 17 May 1965 – 8 January 1966. It was illustrated by John McLusky, who adapted thirteen of Fleming’s novels and short stories into cartoon form for the Daily Express between 1958 and 1966, starting with Casino Royale. The series was a success, boosting readership for the newspaper.
