Typed letter signed, with manuscript "P.S.", to Amherst Villiers, on the portrait he commissioned for the limited edition of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, calling it "a really splendid effort", stating "I would be delighted to buy the portrait"
1 page, 8vo, on paper headed 4 Old Mitre Court, 5 December 1962

Six black and white publicity photographs, two with the stamp of Harrod's London to reverse, supplied by Fleming to Villiers for reference
Villiers painted the portrait of Ian Fleming which was used for the frontispiece illustration in the limited edition of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, 1963. See lots 104 and 105.
