Gerald Genta's designs are now greatly known. Some have become the pinnacle of the watch industry. After designing watches for brands for decades, the artist decided, in 1982, to launch his own brand. Thanks to the know-how of his in-house artisans, he was able to create unique and limited edition pieces, such as the present lot. This has allowed the brand to thrive and to make a name for itself.
In 2000, Bulgari acquired the brand from the famous designer. The expertise from the newly acquired brand allowed Bulgari to make itself a name in the watchmaking industry.
This 25-piece limited edition timepiece is a tribute to the famous designer. It is a part of the 'Haute Horlogerie and Grande Complication' collection. It is built in a case made of sapphire crystal and white gold. On the bands, pillars of Super-Luminova GL-C3 can be admired. It also features a 60-second tourbillon at 6 o'clock. The watch is equipped with a caliber GG 8000. This skeletonized manual winding movement offer a 70-hour power reserve.
This very exclusive and rare timepiece is offered in very good condition and has been serviced by Bulgari in 2017. It comes with its full set of accessories and its presentation case.
