In its search to market high quality timepieces cased in precious metals, Seiko launched Credor in 1974 to avoid association with the mass produced quartz watches they had become synonymous with.
Introduced in 2014 to commemorate Credor's 40th anniverary, the present lot stands as a celebration of the Japanese manufacturer with its porcelain dial which directly references Shinshu's famous snowy landscapes and natural irregularities of the handcrafted hands.
