Launched in 2000, Vianney Halter's Classic collection has become a favorite among seasoned collectors. Production has not exceeded 250 pieces with different metal variations. Its case is inspired by Captain Nemo’s Nautilus, the present example exhibiting a silvered dial with blued steel hands. Its automatic movement VH100 can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back, also known as the "mysterious rotor", an oscillating weight hides itself under the edge of the case back, avoiding obstruction of the view to the entire movement. Exerting a distinctive phenomenon on the wrist, the present watch is a true showcase of Vianney Halter's steampunk ideology.
