Enamel and diamond vanity case, Cartier, circa 1930

The rectangular black enamelled case enhanced with square and rose diamonds, opening to reveal a mirror, a lipstick tube and a compartment for powder, inscribed 'April 25^th1932', signed Cartier, numbered, maker's mark for Jacques Cartier and French maker's mark, British importation hallmarks for gold, fitted case stamped Cartier.
