Ruby and diamond bracelet, Charles Holl, circa 1920
Of strap design, set with oval, French-, calibré- and triangular-cut rubies and circular-cut diamonds, length approximately 193mm, maker's mark for Charles Holl, numbered, French import marks for platinum.
Charles Holl's maker's mark was registered on 15 May, 1917. His workshop was located at 20 rue des Victoires in Paris and then rue Volney. Testament to his superb craftsmanship, the Parisian workshop was employed by Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, amongst others, to manufacture handbags, boxes, cases and jewels for them.
