A Worcester 'Lord Henry Thynne' Pattern-Type Assembled Part-Tea and Coffee Service, Circa 1780


of fluted shape, finely painted at the centers with various landscape and river scenes, within turquoise feather cartouches, reserved on a white-ground painted with large flower sprays and insects, with deep blue rims enriched with gilding, comprising:

a teapot, cover and stand,

a cream jug,

a sucrier and cover,

a waste bowl,

9 coffee cups, 

7 teabowls

11 saucers,

a cake stand, diam. 8 1/2 in., 21.7;

and a small plate, diam. 7 1/8 in., 18.2 cm,

crescent marks in blue,

together with 11 wooden teabowl and saucer stands. 47 pieces.
