Presented by Hot 97, 50 Cent's "5 Boroughs Tour" was the native-New Yorker's triumphant return to the city that raised him following a run of international performances in 2007.

Playing shows in all five boroughs that made up New York City—Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island—from September 13 to September 16, this tour also functioned as partial promotion for 50's third album Curtis also released in 2007. The majority of Curtis was written at 50 Cent's grandmothers home in South Jamaica Queens, representing a return to space of contentment and comfort within his chaotic career. All ticketed attendees of the "5 Boroughs Tour" received a copy of Curtis at each performance venue.

Promoting the five NYC shows, the current limited edition poster features a iconic photo of 50 in a G-Unit hoodie, cutting through a firearm on a plate with a fork and knife, mid-bite—a tongue-in-cheek reference to the rapper's miraculous recovery from a drive-by shooting incident in 2000.
