Nike Dunk Low Premium SB ‘Joker’ Prototype Sample | Size 9

Rumored to be a part of a 'Villains Pack' this Joker sample made headlines in 2008, drawing inspiration from the famous Batman supervillain ‘The Joker.’ 

2008, the release year of the Oscar-winning ‘The Dark Knight’, starring Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as the Joker, seemed to make for an opportune time to release the shoe. However, for reasons unknown, the pair never hit store shelves, remaining one of the most rare and sought-after SBs in existence. 

The toebox and heel of the shoe are crafted using green denim material, and the mid panel features a flannel design in black and purple. Additionally, the mudguard is covered in purple suede. The shoe is complemented with a white Swoosh and black midsole. 

A later sample of this pair was produced and surfaced in the summer of 2009, which featured slight differences, including a combination of suede and nylon materials and a white midsole.
