This canvas depicts two teams possibly engaging in a wrestling match or a winter dance, in Piazza Santo Spirito, Florence. A similar depiction of the subject by Giorgio Vasari is frescoed on a wall in the Sala di Gualdrada at the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence.¹
