Sotheby’s is delighted to present a collaboration with the celebrated Florentine art dealer Giovanni Pratesi. The auction will be held in Milan on 22^nd March 2023.

Giovanni Pratesi established his gallery in 1960 in the magnificent Palazzo Ridolfi situated in the heart of Florence. Pratesi subsequently became president of the Italian Association of Antiques Dealers (since 1995), secretary-general of the Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato di Firenze (since 2001), and director of the Gazzetta Antiquaria (since 1987). From 1999 to 2004 he exhibited at TEFAF in Maastricht.
