The Patek Philippe Reference 2592 was produced between 1958 to 1966. It was nicknamed Vendome by collectors for its understated elegance. The watch existed with two types of lugs, the “-1” as the present example, has straight lapidated lugs. The case was made by Wenger. It housed the thin calibre 23 300, which was the best flat 10’’’ movement of its time.

This lot is adorned with the typical dial found on this reference: a mat silvered dial with engraved enamelled oversized thin baton indexes.

The 2592 is a perfect illustration of the understated elegance of the watches produced in the 1960’s with the highest attention to each of its components.
