The Omega Speedmaster 321 'Ed White' was introduced in 2020 as the stainless steel Speedmaster using the celebrated Calibre 321.
The watch further pays tribute to astronaut Ed White as it uses the design of the 105.003.
Enthusiasts will instantly recognize the straight lugs, the absence of crown guards, the famous dot over 90 on the bezel as well as the stepped dial.
The timepiece is fitted on a stainless steel bracelet, which reminds the original 1039.
While respecting the history of the model with the movement and general aesthetic, this timepiece is also at the very forefront of the latest innovations of the brand. The watch is fitted with a ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal for the front and the back of the piece.
The rebirth of the Calibre 321 had been long waited by the entire watch community. The new calibre is extremely faithful to the original one, with the improvement of the finish, which is now in Sedna gold instead of copper for increased chemical stability. Omega used the watch of Astronaut Geneve Cernan to re-create the calibre 321. It was the last watch worn on the moon in 1972.
Presented in excellent condition, this most attractive Speedmaster comes complete with an impressive set of accessories and its original documents and presentation case.
