Production of the oversized reference 570 began in 1938 with a subsidiary seconds model. A year later, in 1939, a center seconds version was introduced. The watch was predominantly cased in yellow gold, with a small number in pink gold, white gold, stainless steel and platinum. The model had a long production run and was discontinued in 1972.
The present wristwatch encased in stainless steel is a highly desirable version of the reference and is accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming the date of manufacture in 1948 and subsequent sale on March 1st, 1949.
