The reference 2582 was originally launched in 1957 and is thought to have been kept in the Patek Phillipe catalog for only one to two years. At the time of production, this was one of the largest time-only wristwatches made by the brand. While it is estimated that approximately 30 yellow gold and 12 pink gold cases were produced, only 4 known examples have surfaced and they were all housed in yellow gold. To date, none have been found in pink gold.
