Reference 130 is considered to be one of Patek Philippe's most recognizable and well known vintage chronograph models. Made in stainless steel, yellow gold and pink gold, reference 130 remained in production for almost 30 years.
The reference 130 was in production between 1936 to 1964. The earliest examples were fitted with a single pusher for the chronograph and later incorporating two pushers.
The present example features a silvered dial with applied baton and numeral hour markers at the 12:00 and 6:00. This particular example manufactured circa 1945 has aged attractively and retains strong case proportions throughout, making it a highly sought after design and dial configuration for vintage collectors.
