A motif floral, serti d'émeraudes rectangulaires à pans coupés et de diamants tailles brillant et marquise, transformable en deux bracelets, longueurs 390 mm et 185 mm environ, poinçon français d'import pour l'or 14K (585°/00), poids brut 45.30 g.

Of floral design, set with rectangular step-cut emeralds, brilliant-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds, can be worn as two bracelets, length approximately 390mm and 185mm, French import assay mark for 14 carat gold, gross weight 45.30 grams.

L'entreprise Paltscho a été fondée à Vienne en Autriche en 1899 par Ernst Paltscho. Son fils a rejoint l'entreprise en 1918 et a repris l'activité à la mort de son père en 1929. L'entreprise a produit des bijoux finement ouvragés pendant la période Art déco. La Maison était particulièrement réputée pour la sculpture et gravure de pierres précieuses dont les motifs s'inspiraient de la nature. Les pièces de Paltscho sont reconnues pour leur qualité d'exécution et ont largement inspirées les joailliers viennois.

The firm of Paltscho was founded in Vienna in 1899 by Ernst Paltscho. His son joined the company in 1918 and carried on the activity at his father's death in 1929. The company produced finely crafted pieces of jewellery during the Art Deco period. The firm was particularly reknowed for the carving of gemstones with designs inspired by nature. Paltscho pieces are famous and collected for their craftmanship and regarded as a source of inspiration for all other jewellery makers of Vienna.
