inscribed max ernst, numbered 56/175 and stamped with the foundry mark CIRE A. VALSUANI PARIS
bronze
height: 33 cm; 13 in.
width of the base: 17,8 cm; 7 in.
Conceived in 1973 and cast in bronze at a later date by the Valsuani Foundry, Paris in a numbered edition of 175, plus 15 artitst's proofs.
The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by Dr. Jürgen Pech, Bonn. The work will be included in the eighth volume of the catalogue raisonné of The Complete Works of Max Ernst in preparation.

Conçu en 1973 et fondu en rbonze à une date ultérieure par Valsuani Paris, dans une édition numérotée de 175 exemplaires plus 15 épreuves d'artiste.
L'authenticité de cette œuvre a été confirmée par Dr. Jürgen Pech, Bonn. Cette œuvre sera incluse dans le huitième volume de l'édition The Complete Works of Max Ernst actuellement en cours de préparation.
