small 4to (214 x 134mm.), text in Greek, woodcut initials, woodcut printer's device o final verso (otherwise blank), annotations in first play (Πλουτος, Wealth), quire γ misbound, eighteenth-century half calf, blue edges, leaf Θ4 repaired at foot, a few small holes in final leaf with device, occasional light staining, small adhesive label to spine
This edition contains two plays more than the 1498 Aldine edition (lot 14), Thesmophoriazousae and Lysistrata, both of which first appeared in a separate volume printed by Filippo Giunta in 1515.
