Jakub Podlodowski was born in 1986 in Lublin, Poland. After graduating with honors from Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej’s Department of Art in KSP, Kazimierz Dolny, in 2007, he continued his studies at the Academy of Art in Kraków, earning his Master of Fine Art degree in 2010. Podlodowski has taken part in many individual and group exhibitions in Poland and other countries across Europe, has won numerous awards and accolades, and has done significant work as an art conservationist, winning an award in 2014 for his restoration of works in Małachowianka, Płock, Poland.
