The 2008 VinRoc Cabernet Sauvignon received the following reviews upon its release in October 2011:

"...emerges from the glass with the essence of tar, smoke, licorice and black fruit. This muscular, virile Cabernet Sauvignon shows tons of depth and richness, not to mention personality. It is a fabulous wine."

Wine Spectator:

"Very rich...with gobs of dark berry fruit, showing blackberry, wild berry and currant notes. Firm and full-blown, ending with excellent fruit persistence and touches of mineral and spice."

VinRoc is harvested, fermented and aged as separate one- to two-ton lots. The best barrels are selected and blended for bottling as VinRoc Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon.
