In the cellar, the wine was racked by gravity into French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and aged in 100% French oak barrels (94% new) for a total of 21 months.
In the glass, the opulent ruby color alludes to the intense fruit profile of this full-bodied Cabernet. Rich notes of black cherry and cassis are framed by toasted sweet oak notes and hint of chocolate.
Velvety tannins give this wine a luxurious mouthfeel and a long, elegant finish of concentrated fruit and spice.
