Purchased from Jonathan Harris, 1989.
Giacomo Sirletti, son of Filippo and grand-son of Flavio, reputed Roman silversmiths, was both silversmith and cameo carver. So he did probably the entire box in his workshop located at that time via di San Silvestro, n° 3.
