10 volumes, 4to (282 x 220mm.), 7 engraved titles, 176 engraved plates, some double-page, of which 93 finely coloured by hand, contemporary uniform green half morocco, spines with raised bands in five compartments gilt, marbled edges, marbled endpapers, a few plates slightly shaved at margins, some light scattered spotting


A FINE AND RARE COMPLETE SET of the most important, and most beautiful, British pomological journal, illustrated with superb fruit plates by leading artists of the day, such as Franz Bauer, William Hooker, Miss Drake, C. Lindley, and Lady Boughton.
