Mridula Vichitra and Chitrangada Krishna (lot 55) are the daughters of artists and printmakers Kanwal and Devayani Krishna (see lots 1-3, 56, 74-5). They continued their parents’ accomplished artistic endeavours, exploring abstraction through a range of media. The present lot, an intricate, monochromatic study in ink, in particular, reveals the influence of the fluid, expressive lines of Devayani.
