This was one of Reid’s earliest designs for the band. 'Anarchy in the UK' was written and first performed in summer of 1976, and was released as the Sex Pistols's debut single by EMI on 26 November 1976. Reid's spare screenprint - which does not include the band's name or any release information - is based on a photograph by Ray Stevenson of the band playing in St Albans.
