the sixty-two plate iron bowl with standing rivets, terminating in a five-stage copper and copper-gilt tehen kanamono floret, details chased and engraved, stenciled leather mabisashi [peak], the fukigaeshi [turnbacks] similarly decorated and applied with copper-gilt maru ni mitsu tsuta mon [encircled triple ivy crests], five-tiered black lacquer shikoro [neck guard] with sugake odoshi [spaced lacing] in blue braid, the gilt metal maedate [forecrest] in the form of a tanzaku [poem paper strip] pierced with yotsu waribishi mon [quadruple diamond crests] and kanbun inscription, the russet iron ressei mempo [face mask with fierce expression] forged with deep wrinkles, flared nostrils and open mouth, detachable nose plate, red lacquer interior, three-tiered yodaregake [throat protector] with sugake odoshi [spaced lacing] in matching braid, this lot is sold with a wood helmet stand as illustrated
