Dial: silvered

Calibre: mechanical, jewelled

Movement number: 157'191

Case: 18k yellow gold, snap on case back

Case number: 691'719

Size: 50 mm diameter

Signed: case, dial and movement

The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The minute repeating is in phase with a very nice tone and clarity. The dial is in well preserved condition with hard enamel signature that is nicely raised with just a very few minor spots. The case is still incredibly crisp with sharp lines and facets. There is light surface wear to the case which is consistent to the age. There is a strong hallmark on the bow and underneath the case back. The case itself with light surface wear. The movement is also signed HOX, confirming export to the US.

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts.
