The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The chronograph function is working properly. The present example can be considered unpolished and in close to new condition that a 60 year old watch can be. The dial has hard enamel scales that are raised to the best extent that can be seen without an aide of a loupe. There are couple of minor spots to the surface and a small mark to the left of centre post to the 30 minute register. Some of the numerals are lightly oxidised. There are a couple of lines to the right of the 10 o'clock numeral just under the minute track. The case is extremely well preserved and unpolished, showing the thickness of the lugs, case lines throughout and the definition of the bezel and case to the greatest extend. There is a very crisp hallmarks between the lugs at 6 o'clock. The case back with gold marks to the centre and underneath the top right lugs, there is a hand scratched inventory number presumably from the retailer that reads 27733. It is without a doubt that this 1463 is one of the greatest kept gold examples.

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense.
