An Indian silver punch bowl, Narotamdas Bhau Jewellers, Bombay, probably circa 1920
resting on a gadrooned foot, the body embossed with four acanthus leaves, beads, and two medallions, one engraved with coat-of-arms of the Lohani Dynasty of Palanpur and motto "Ba aql giriftah ba shamsher Dasht" (What has been won by reason, he Sustains by force), gadrooned border, the handles shaped as elephant's heads, the footrim engraved Made by Narotamdas Bhau Jewellers.
