each panel depicting a Tuscan landscape with trees and houses on a black marble ground, in a gilt-bronze, green marble and ebonised wood frame

panel only: approximatively 22 x 15cm.; 8¾x 5¾in.

with frame: 28.8 x 22cm.; 11¼x 8 1/1 in.

In overall good condition. Each with a hanging hoop at the top. Unexamined out of frame. Minor old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Panel A (tree in the centre) The black ground with minor chipping along the lower left edge (about 1.5cm. long) and minor hairline cracks to the top. The green marble of frame with minor breaks and hairline cracks along lines of construction and around lower left corner and right side. Panel B (houses on the right) The green marble of frame with minor breaks and hairline cracks along lines of construction and around lower and top left corner. One pin missing on frame to top left corner, however the gilt-bronze frieze remains securely attached to the wood backing. Decorative.
