‘One of the most poignant times to walk in the woods is right before twilight. There’s this brief period while the sun is leaving the sky that the light shifts in remarkable ways. Everything contained within the landscape catches this transition for a fleeting moment. I’ve been trying to translate not just the magic of the light, but also the transient quality of it.’
