Grace Belasyse was the daughter of Henry Belasyse (1604-47) and Grace Barton, daughter of Sir Thomas Barton. Her eldest brother, Thomas, inherited the title Viscount Fauconberg from his grandfather in 1652, and was created Earl of Fauconberg; he was ambassador to the Princes of Italy. Grace married George Saunderson, 5th Viscount Castleton (1631-1714), who was elected Member of Parliament for Lincolnshire and held the seat from 1661-98.
