Nike

In 2005, Nike SB’s ‘Team Manager Series’ brought together skateboarding team managers to design shoes based on their best selling models. Nike enlisted Girl Skateboards manager, Sam Smyth - aka RESN.  Though RESN’s original 2005 SB Dunk High was dropped from the series, in 2009 an updated version was developed and released to the public.

This sample pair from 2009 differs from the general release, due to the tongue tag and frayed denim that is just slightly altered from the OG version from 2005. Samples are sneakers made by the manufacturer either for promotional purposes or for testing various aspects of a design. They are far rarer than the general release pairs.
