The work appears sound. The canvas is original. Overall the work appears to be in generally very good condition. There is some frame abrasion to the extreme edges near the corners. There are a few extremely tiny flecks of loss to isolated areas. There is some minor linear craquelure in places, particularly to the upper section and a stretcher bar mark along the top edge. There are some specks of staining and spots of possible mould in places. There is light surface dust and dirt to the work. The work is presented in a painted wooden frame. Under UV light, the work reveals some staining in places but no obvious signs of retouching or florescence.
