Young woman at a window with a bunch of grapes
dated upper center in the medallion: 1662
oil on panel
panel: 15 by 11⅜ in.; 38.1 by 28.9 cm.
framed: 20½ by 17 in.; 52.1 by 43.2 cm.
Dou made two autograph versions of this composition: one today in the Royal Collections, UK,1 and one in the Galleria Sabauda, Turin, also dated 1662.2 The subject was subsequently copied by his followers many times over.
