F. Baldassari, Carlo Dolci: Complete Catalogue of the Paintings, Florence 2015, p. 164, under cat. no. 69 (as a copy).

This painting is an eighteenth-century copy of a work by Carlo Dolci (1616-1686), who produced at least seven iterations of this composition, each with subtle variations. The prototype for the present painting is the version held at the Palazzo Corsini in Rome, which likely dates to the early 1670s and was first recorded in the collection of the Corsini princes in Rome in 1750.1
