Each set with oval rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, signed M. Gérard, numbered, French assay mark and maker's mark.


Accompanied by SSEF report no. 121395, stating that the rubies are of Burmese and East African origin, with no indications of heating, with a minor to moderate coloured oil in fissures.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 121395, stating that the rubies measuring approximately 9.10 x 7.30 x 4.80mm to 5.85 x 4.85 x 2.65mm, are of Burmese and East African origin, with no indications of heating, with a minor to moderate coloured oil in fissures.


Signed M. GERARD, numbered 481, maker's mark for André Vassort, located 34 rue Saint Anne, Paris, France. French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Rubies stated to weigh a total of approximately 32.22 carats, red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, chips, nicks and cavities. Diamonds stated to weigh a total of approximately 16.75 carats, on average G-I colour, VS-SI clarity as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches to the mount consistent with age and use. In good condition. Each measuring approximately 60 x 35mm. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 42 grams.
