Excellent level and appearance

72% Pinot Noir, 28% Chardonnay.  In 2014, and disgorged

in 2013, this has a very beer and brioche nose, very 'iodé' and bready.

On the palate, there is all the fresh acidity and structure of 1988.

Great depth and a yin yang, sweet/salty taste that lingers long on the

The gun-barrel design was crafted by Eric Berthés of the Saint-

Louis crystal works in Lorraine, in order to showcase Bollinger’s 1988

R.D. - part of the Bollinger's late-release and recently disgorged

prestige cuvée vintage Champagne range (fittingly also the vintage James Bond has

stored in his Aston Martin DB5 in GoldenEye).
